Senior Configuration and Data Manager LOCATION: Hanscom AFB, MA Salary Range: $120-$130,000 annually* *depending on experience, certifications, and qualifications JOB STATUS:Full-time; salaried CLEARANCE: Secret clearance required Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Configuration and Data Manager directly supporting the USAF Aerial Networks Division, which is within the Cyber and Networks Directorate, and located at Hanscom AFB in Bedford Massachusetts. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a related field
- Years of Experience: 12 years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, five of which must be in the DoD. Two additional years of directly related experience with proper certifications may substitute for the Master's degree. A total of 15 years of directly related experience (8 DoD) may substitute for the Bachelor's degree.
- Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Secret clearance
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS:
- Progressive experience in managing configuration of software, engineering documents, design drawings, engineering changes and notices, and planning/conducting design audits
- Understanding of the configuration change control process, role of the Change Control Board, and change control documentation
- Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing, providing quality acquisition and program documentation (briefings, documents, plans, etc.)
- Capable of working independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Capable of leading and completing complex projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and administer program Configuration Management Plans
- Identify data requirements in program Statements of Work/Objectives (SOW/SOO), and Performance Work Statements (PWS); provide CM/DM input into program documentation
- Review contractor's CM program and data deliverables for accuracy, completeness and compliance
- Support the Configuration Control Board (CCB), Technical Review Board (TRB), and record approved changes and results
- Prepare for major audits such as Physical and Functional Configuration Audits (PCAs and FCAs)
- Manage configurations of software, including configuration planning, data analysis, and maintenance of configuration documents, including engineering documents, design drawings, engineering change notices
- Control the configuration of IT systems; audit and review IT system configurations
- Identify and maintain all configuration baselines
- Establish workflows to track data deliverables and responses; report the contractor's data delivery status
- Process Government and development/sustainment Contractor correspondence.
- Receive and distribute CDRL data deliverables and track Government responses
- Provide CM of relevant program artifacts, including configuration identification, change control, and status accounting records and acquisition documentation
