Astrion has an exciting opportunity foran Engineering Technician II located at LAckland AFB, Texas.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

• Three (3) years of applicable experience supporting engineering or testing of hardware in the appropriate area of specialization; or two (2) years of applicable college/vocational/military/technical school and one (1) year of applicable experience in the assigned specialty area; and the following additional requirements:
• Instrumentation - Must have sixteen (16) weeks of civilian or military training in electronics or basic instrumentation techniques and at least one (1) of the three (3) years of experience must be in electronics/instrumentation supporting engineering or testing of military hardware.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

• Exceptional customer relationship skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Install, operate, and maintain tecnical instrumentation.
• Support the lead engineer in the design, installation, production.
• Support local data collection on integrated aviation/weapons systems.
• Install and operate range equipment as needed.
