ECU's Department of Physician Assistant Studies is a 27-month, master-level curriculum and is accredited by the ARC-PA. It is one of ninteen departments in the Brody School of Medicine ( BSOM) and is in a state-of-the-art building on the health science campus in Greenville, NC, along with the College of Nursing and the Laupus Medical Library. East Carolina University (27,000 students) is an integral part of ECU Health, the regional medical center that serves 29 counties.

ECU is located in Greenville, NC, which is the cultural, educational, medical, and economic center of Eastern NC. The Greenville/Pitt County area has a population of approximately 175,000. The Department of Physician Assistant Studies is currently recruiting part-time, fixed term teaching faculty (.74FTE or less) for one or more semesters at the title(s) of Teaching Instructor, Teaching Assistant Professor, Teaching Associate Professor, Teaching Professor, Clinical Instructor, Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor, Clinical Professor to teach and support of the PA Program curriculum to serve primary duties and responsibilities such as:

Master's or Doctoral degree in PA or related field with a minimum of three (3) years of experience in teaching and/or professional practice.

Clinical Faculty - NC Physician Assistant license required

Current NCCPA certification
