Summary:

The Contract Administration team plays a critical role in supporting our natural gas business. As an Associate Contract Administrator, you will help ensure that commercial agreements are accurately drafted, documented, implemented, and administered throughout their lifecycle.

You'll work closely with Commercial, Accounting, Measurement, Legal, Operations, and external customers while developing specialized expertise in energy contract administration.

This is a full-time, on-site position reporting to the Contract Administration Director.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Administer a portfolio of natural gas contracts covering high volumes of gas and significant business activity

  • Draft contracts, amendments, notices, and other contractual correspondence.

  • Maintain contract information within the Quorum Contract Management System.

  • Prepare Accounting Briefs for new and amended agreements.

  • Monitor contractual obligations, deadlines, notice requirements, and trigger events.

  • Audit settlement statements to ensure compliance with contractual terms.

  • Research and resolve contract-related issues through analysis and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Maintain contract files and supporting documentation.

  • Prepare reports and provide contractual information to support business needs.

  • Support due diligence efforts, special projects, Contract Administration initiatives and other responsibilities as assigned.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and SOX requirements.

Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience.
  • 0-2 years of experience in contract administration or legal support.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to learn new systems and business processes quickly.
  • Ability to multi-task and work productively and independently with minimal supervision as part of a team.

  • Usually, normal office working conditions.

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.

  • Occasional overnight travel may be required.
