Position Summary: The Production Planner I position is responsible for planning and prioritizing operations schedules. The position uses ERP data to create and place orders required for on time production. The production planner I also partners with the purchasing and operations teams to maintain on time production. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate workflow on assigned items or products Utilize MRP and system data to meet customer demand Ensure material availability for prior to releasing items to production Monitor jobs to ensure on-time completion Address issues that may prevent on time delivery Monitor production status and take action to eliminate obstacles that impede on-time delivery of product Monitor metrics such as on time delivery, lead time, and stock-outs Ensure accurate system data Recommend and implement process improvements Ensure work is performed in accordance with the site's Quality Management System (QMS) Collaborate with quality, purchasing, operations, and engineering as needed Prepare performance reports Comply with company, quality, and safety standards, policies, and procedures An individual in this position must be able to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities listed above.
