The impact you'll make

As a Business Operations Analyst at Lam, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of the Global Planning & Operations organization. Leveraging strong analytical methodologies, you willprovidedata-driven insights that enable decision-makers to address gaps, resolve issues, and achieve critical businessobjectives.

What you'll do

In this role, you will evaluate business performance across the Global Planning & Operations organization, assess business processes, and identify root causes of performance challenges. Your work will directly support continuous improvement initiatives, enable informed business decisions, and deliver measurable operational results.

  • Track and report operational performance against targets.
  • Lead regular operations reviews to ensureadherence to established KPIs.
  • Identifygaps and connect them to systems and processes.
  • Assess risks and highlight potential issues.
  • Provide clear, data-driven recommendationstoleadership.
  • Communicate process gaps across local and global teams.
  • Drive process improvements across functions.
  • Ensure adherence to analytics standards.
  • Lead and coordinate complex cross-functional intiatives to completion.

An ideal Operations Analyst is:

  • Curious and driven to understand root causes (e.g., 5 Whys).
  • Detail-oriented with a strong understanding of the bigger picture.
  • Self-motivated and able to quickly learn new skills.
  • Focused on producing high-quality work while improving efficiency.
  • Highly organized and comfortable working in ambiguous environments.
  • Able to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Builds strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong executive presentation skills
Who we're looking for
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or related field, with 7years experience; or 5years experiencewith aMaster'sdegree; orPh.Dwith no experience.
  • Seven (7) years of experience in business operations, operational performance management, program management, or a related role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication with experience influencing stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success working in fast-paced global working environment.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders.
  • Advanced analytical skills to interpret and utilize data for decision support.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Power BI and other analytics tools

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories - On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. 'On-site Flex' you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. 'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.

Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Actual salary may vary from salary offered due to numerous factors including but not limited to unpaid time off, unpaid leave, company mandated shutdown, and other relevant factors.
