Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous custodial, janitorial, housekeeping, or facilities maintenance experience is beneficial.

• Previous custodial, janitorial, or facility cleaning experience preferred
• Experience working safely in a manufacturing, warehouse, or commercial environment is a plus
• Reliable attendance and strong attention to detail

• Clean and maintain assigned areas through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, wiping surfaces, window cleaning, and trash removal
• Clean, sanitize, and restock washrooms with paper products and supplies
• Clean company vehicles as assigned
• Remove cardboard, waste, and debris to keep the facility organized and safe
• Maintain outdoor areas by shoveling snow, salting entrances, and picking up litter
• Identify and report maintenance concerns or safety hazards to the Manufacturing Services Supervisor
• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and work rules
• Assist with additional facility maintenance and housekeeping duties as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience cleaning commercial, industrial, office, healthcare, educational, or manufacturing facilities is preferred.
• Experience operating floor care equipment, buffers, scrubbers, or other custodial equipment is beneficial.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning chemical usage, sanitation procedures, and workplace safety practices is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and pride in their work are well positioned for success as a Custodian.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift cleaning supplies, equipment, and materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely push, pull, and maneuver cleaning carts and equipment.
• Ability to work in a variety of indoor environments while following established safety procedures.
