As a Senior Principal Systems Engineer, you will lead system quality initiatives across complex products, processes, and engineering programs. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify risks, resolve quality issues, validate system performance, and drive continuous improvement efforts that enhance reliability, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
Education Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Engineering, Computer Science, Quality Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Advanced degree preferred


Experience Requirements


  • Extensive experience in systems engineering, quality assurance, or reliability engineering
  • Strong knowledge of system validation, testing, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving quality initiatives across complex programs
  • Understanding of industry standards, regulatory compliance requirements, and quality management systems
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills


Job Duties


  • Design, develop, test, and maintain system quality processes and standards
  • Ensure products, systems, and processes meet defined quality and performance requirements
  • Identify defects, assess risks, and implement corrective and preventive actions
  • Conduct root cause analysis and drive resolution of complex quality issues
  • Develop and execute system verification, validation, and testing activities
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, operations, and program teams to improve quality outcomes
  • Monitor system performance and recommend enhancements to improve reliability and efficiency
  • Support compliance initiatives and ensure adherence to applicable quality standards and regulations
  • Analyze quality metrics and trends to identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Lead quality reviews, audits, risk assessments, and process improvement initiatives
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship on quality engineering best practices



Physical Capabilities


  • Ability to sit, stand, and work at a computer for extended periods
  • Ability to review technical documentation and analyze engineering data
  • Occasional travel may be required based on project needs
