Hospitalist Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) - UNC Health Lenoir

UNC Health Lenoir is looking for Hospitalist Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to join our growing Hospital Medicine program in Kinston, North Carolina. This position involves delivering high-quality and team-based inpatient services. Schedule:

• 7 days on and 7 days off (7am -7pm)
• Open ICU (No procedures required)

EMR: EPIC

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited PA or NP program
• Experienced Hospitalist PA or NP preferred
• New Grads APPs are welcome to apply
• Preferred inpatient ED or ICU experience

Education Requirements:
* Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) program.
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
* Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (i.e., Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, Certified Nurse Midwife) in the state of North Carolina. Board certification if required by the Department. DEA.
Professional Experience Requirements:
* No prior experience required.
Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:
* Demonstrated clinical competency. Effective leadership skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Demonstrated written and verbal communication and strong analytical skills. Effective interaction to ensure the successful care of patients in the clinical setting. Documentation in the medical record to substantiate accurate billing.
