Responsibilities Peraton has an exciting opportunity for a Network Engineer to join our team in Landover, MD. Our program provides lifecycle support for a large Information Technology (IT) network supporting a Department of Defense (DoD) customer. This program delivers full life-cycle engineering support for all system elements including Development (hardware, software and networking), Systems and Security Engineering (Integration, Testing and Deployment), Sustainment (Logistics, and Field Support), Network Operations Center (NOC)/Help Desk, and training support for the user community. Responsibilities: The Network Engineer will be responsible for but not limited to:
Plan the implementation of enhancements and upgrades to routers/switches for a large, worldwide enterprise network.
** This role is required to provide onsite support, Monday - Friday ** ** The program does allow for a flexible work schedule and is located within walking distance from a Metro station ** Qualifications Required Qualifications:

Target Salary Range $135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
