| Essential Job Duties |
The Assistant Women's Tennis coach will assist the Head Women's Tennis Coach in the organization of all aspects of a Division I Women's Tennis Program to include recruiting, player development, practices, and administration.
Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
- Assisting the head coach in administrative functions for the team.
- Promoting student-athlete welfare by fostering an environment that prioritizes personal growth, leadership development, mental well-being, and academic achievement.
- Collaborating in the design and implementation of practice plans, individual training sessions, match preparation, and competitive strategies.
- Identifying, evaluating, and recruiting prospective student-athletes who demonstrate the athletic, academic, and personal characteristics necessary for success at NC State University.
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with prospective student-athletes, families, coaches, and recruiting networks while ensuring compliance with NCAA, conference, and institutional recruiting regulations.
- Assisting with scheduling and management of practice facilities, match preparations, equipment, and other program resources.
- Supporting the administration and execution of home competitions, tournaments, camps, clinics, and special events hosted by the Women's Tennis program.
- Assisting the head coach in the coaching of technical and mental aspects of the game.
- Supporting fundraising, alumni engagement, community outreach, and promotional activities that enhance the visibility and success of the Women's Tennis program.
- Ensure adherence to all NCAA, ACC, and University rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications
| Minimum Education and Experience |
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum of two years coaching tennis required.
|
| Other Required Qualifications |
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- A knowledge of, and commitment to, compliance with ACC, NCAA, and University guidelines.
|
| Preferred Qualifications |
- Master's Degree
- Experience coaching tennis at collegiate level.
