The Strategic Initiatives Program Manager will understand GuideWell's strategic direction to support the Office of the CEO in managing enterprise-wide strategic programs. This role will serve as a trusted business consultant and program management leader to collaborate with and support business partners in defining key objectives, overarching program structure and frameworks, workstreams, key objectives, timelines, interdependencies, risks, and performance indicators. This role will facilitate and lead integrated execution plans and cross-functional collaboration among business partners to ensure alignment on priorities, resource allocation, and decision-making. This role develops and manages program reporting and prepares well-structured and well-written executive level program briefings to support executive and C-suite decision-making. Essential Functions Strategic Initiative Business Consulting
- Collaborates with initiative business partners to identify key strategic questions and define an initiative's strategic approach
- Develops program structure and framework, including organizational structure and ownership, workstream identification, key objectives, timelines, and interdependencies
- Facilitates cross-functional collaboration among business partners to ensure alignment on priorities, resource allocation, and decision-making
Program Management Leadership
- Program manages large-scale, enterprise-wide strategic initiatives with multiple workstreams involving multiple business units and cross-functional departments
- Develops integrated workstream execution plans with clear objectives, timelines, and inter-dependencies
- Leads integrated execution against defined program objectives and timelines, monitors risks, and coordinates with business partners for identification of mitigation strategies
Program Management Reporting
- Develops program reporting and dashboards
- Reports and presents executive summaries to support business partners and executives to ensure alignment on priorities, resource allocation, mitigation plans, and decision-making
Communication and Engagement
- Articulates and presents complex topics or issues in succinct, clear language for delivery to wide range of audiences
- Develops and prepares well-structured and well-written executive level briefings to support executive/C-suite decision-making
- Facilitates effective meetings and communicates meeting materials and presentations
Agent for Change
- Leads process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives within the Office of the CEO
- Identifies opportunities for continued integration and improvement; coaches up, across, and down as needed to advocate for deploying best practices for more efficient business solutioning and execution
- Teaches, models, and provides consultation to others for leveraging enterprise expertise and resources; encourages assimilation of best practices and learnings to extend across the enterprise
Qualifications Required Work Experience
- 8+ years related work experience
Required Management Experience
- No supervisory/management experience required
Required Education
- Related Bachelor's degree or additional related equivalent work experience
Additional Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of health care industry and key functions and processes
- Proven track record of extensive business consulting, program management, and/or project leadership experience on complex initiatives crossing multiple organizations (crossing enterprise, shared service boundaries)
- Can effectively lead, influence, and coach in a highly matrixed environment
- Proven organizational skills with ability to be flexible and to successfully operate in an ambiguous environment, with minimal supervision, demonstrating extensive experience, judgment, strong personal drive, and self-motivation
- Ability to see bigger picture, is innately curious around "why," "how," or "why not?", and can articulate connections across initiatives to drive additional efficiencies
- Demonstrated expertise with the concepts, theories, and processes of Project Management Methodology (PMM)
- Ability to think conceptually and strategically and create tactical solutions to solve root needs/problems
- Experience building successful collaborative business relationships
- Strong communication and presentation skills; can articulate complex topics or issues in succinct, clear language for delivery to wide range of audiences including senior level (C-Suite) executives
- Ability to effectively delegate and accept input
Preferred Education
- Master's degree in a related field
Preferred Licenses and Certifications
- PMP - Project Management Professional
- PgMP - Program Management Professional
Additional Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years direct supervisory/management experience
- Mature judgment, integrity, and absolute discretion in the handling of confidential information and sensitive situations
- Demonstrates understanding of how project deliverables align to business strategy
- Positive and enthusiastic demeanor with the ability to collaboratively execute with speed in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with multiple competing priorities
- Lean Certification, Lean Green Belt, or experience with lean methodologies
- Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) implementations or major system implementations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, process mapping

Annualized Salary Range: $109,300 - $177,600
Typical Annualized Hiring Range: $109,300 - $136,600
Final pay will be determined with consideration of market competitiveness, internal equity, and the job-related knowledge, skills, training, and experience you bring.
