As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver's license and Level III Armed Certification. What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service to retail store clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting law enforcement and/or emergency services as directed by site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the store interior, exterior, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help deter theft, trespassing, and other unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor customer and employee activity, access points, and high-value merchandise areas; report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, patrols, observations, and security-related activities while maintaining a professional presence in a fast-paced retail environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience or at least 5 years of armed security-related experience.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
