The Finance and Legal Studies Department in the Ed G. Smith College of Business at the University of Missouri-St. Louis invites applications for a non-tenure track Assistant Teaching Professor full-time position, beginning Winter 2027. The University of Missouri-St. Louis is a public research university located in suburban St. Louis. It is part of the four-campus University of Missouri system and is located in Missouri's most populous and economically vibrant region. The Ed G. Smith College of Business is accredited by AACSB and provides a supportive environment for teaching, research, and service. The Finance and Legal Studies Department teaches undergraduate and master's level courses. Additional information about the department can be found at https://www.umsl.edu/business/departments/finance-and-legal-studies/ Essential tasks of this NTT Assistant Teaching Professor position include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, particularly related to FinTech, including but not limited to Computer Applications in Finance, Investments, and others. The candidate will also provide service to the department and college by serving as advisor to the Student Investment Trust (Triton Investment Club), engaging in community outreach, and serving on College- and University-level committees. St. Louis is a major metropolitan area that features a variety of cultural and recreational activities and moderate living costs. It has a vibrant industry with companies in various sectors providing numerous opportunities for business engagement and applied research. The Finance Advisory Board consists of leading local firms, and provides valuable support for the Department's programs, students and faculty. Qualifications
