A day in the life:

The Assistant Payroll Manager will assist the Payroll Manager in the overseeing and the supervision of multi-state payroll and payroll functions, ensuring pay is processed accurately, timely and in compliance with company and government regulations. Supervise payroll coordinators and ensure the accurate and efficient operations of department.



What you'll do as an Exceptional Team Member

    Ensures accurate and timely processing of all payroll cycles.
  • Responsible for overseeing printing checks and Paystubs for all regions.
  • Advises & assists Payroll staff with questions regarding transactional processing involved with payroll
  • Implements, maintains, and reviews payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions.
  • Prepares and maintains accurate records and uploads NACHA and Positive pay files.
  • Responsible for managing the timely and accurate processing of garnishments.
  • Assists with printing annual W2 and is responsible for employee inquires and reprint requests.
  • Facilitates audits and legal inquires by providing records and documentation to auditors.
  • Identifies and recommends updates to payroll policies and procedures.
  • Resolve employee concerns regarding wage payments, taxation, deductions, and other requests.


What you'll need to be an Extraordinary Team Member

  • 5+ years of experience in similar capacity
  • Must have experience with a large inhouse payroll
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office - Advanced knowledge of Excel and key functions (v-lookup, pivot tables)
  • Must have experience managing a team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational/prioritization skills
  • Ability to multi-task with close attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and on team
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrates knowledge of financial processes, systems, controls and work streams
  • Understands how data produced impacts internal & external reporting
