As a Security Officer Armed Patrol College Graduate in El Paso, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond professionally to security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while working collaboratively with site personnel. Pay Rate: $18.39 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to personnel and visitors at a government law-enforcement location by carrying out armed security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned facilities, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be a graduate of a Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or equivalent.
• Possess a college degree.
• Have two or more years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience.
• Possess a DD214 with an honorable discharge, an associate degree or 60 college credits, a Police Academy Certificate, or a Corrections Academy Certificate.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
