Weekly Working Hours: 24 Shift: Rotating - 8:00am - 8:30pm and 8:00pm - 8:30am Suburban Hospital is a 228-bed, not-for-profit, community-based hospital in Bethesda, Maryland. Suburban Hospital is a member of Johns Hopkins Medicine and has served Montgomery County and the surrounding area for more than 65 years. The designated trauma center for Montgomery County, Suburban Hospital is fully accredited by the Joint Commission and has earned ANCC Magnet Recognition for nursing excellence. What You Will Do: The Nursing Coordinator oversees and coordinates nursing services to ensure safe, efficient, and patientcentered care. Serves as a primary coordinator for managing daily patient throughput, ensuring the effective and efficient care of patients. The primary goals of this position are to improve hospital throughput of ED admits, Direct Admits, Surgical Admits, increase inpatient bed utilization and reduce patient or bed turnaround delays. Serves as a clinical and operational resource for nursing staff, supports care planning and staffing activities, and facilitates communication among interdisciplinary teams. Monitors patient flow, quality and safety metrics, and compliance with regulatory standards, and implements process improvements to enhance outcomes and staff satisfaction. Who Should Apply:
