You'll be a key contributor to the organization's growth strategy and play a direct role in expanding opportunities for foster youth throughout the community. . What You'll Be Doing * Research foundation, corporate, government, and other funding opportunities * Develop and submit grant proposals, letters of inquiry, concept papers, sponsorship requests, and renewal applications * Manage the full grant lifecycle from prospect research through submission, award management, compliance, and reporting * Collaborate with executive leadership, program teams, workforce development, finance, and evaluation staff to create compelling narratives, measurable outcomes, logic models, work plans, and budgets * Prepare grant budgets and budget narratives in partnership with organizational leadership * Maintain and manage the annual grants calendar, including deadlines, reporting requirements, renewals, and stewardship activities * Monitor active grants to ensure compliance with program requirements, deliverables, expenditures, and outcomes * Prepare persuasive interim and final grant reports * Maintain organized grant files, agreements, correspondence, supporting documents, and award records * Track opportunities and reporting requirements within Monday.com * Prepare funding updates for executive leadership and Board meetings * Support funder relationships, stewardship efforts, donor communications, and fundraising initiatives * Help identify opportunities to renew, expand, and diversify the organization's funding portfolio . What We're Looking For * 3-5+ years of nonprofit grant writing and grant administration experience * Exceptional writing, editing, research, and communication skills * Experience developing grant budgets, budget narratives, performance measures, and funder reports * Strong project management and organization skills * Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities simultaneously * Experience collaborating across departments and stakeholders * Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite * Nonprofit experience required . Highly Preferred * Proven success securing and managing six- and seven-figure grants * Experience supporting foster care, youth development, workforce development, apprenticeships, arts education, filmmaking, entertainment, mental health, or trauma-informed programs * Experience with California state, county, or federal funding opportunities * Experience using Monday.com * Experience working with donor CRM platforms such as Salsa Labs * Bilingual skills are a plus .
