Job Description * To be considered for this role, candidates must have experience managing 65 to 80 calls daily in a high-volume call center, scheduling, or patient access environment. Key Responsibilities * Assist patients with scheduling appointments over the phone and via email. * Obtain insurance information, referral forms, and other required documentation from patients. * Counsel patients on financial assistance options and insurance-related matters. * Schedule and register patients remotely with no direct patient contact. * Communicate with physicians and clinical staff regarding urgent scheduling requests and referrals. * Verify patient demographics and insurance information during the registration process. * Review and maintain scheduling accuracy for new and existing patients. * Contact patients with appointment reminders and obtain any required insurance or referral information. * Support patients with insurance-related questions regarding billing and payment responsibilities. Qualifications * High-volume inbound/outbound call experience (65 to 80 calls per day). * Patient scheduling, registration, or healthcare customer service experience. * Insurance verification and referral processing experience. * Knowledge of medical billing practices and financial assistance programs. * Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills. * Experience working with electronic scheduling systems and patient reminder platforms. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Louis, MO. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
