As a Security Officer Full Time Entry Authorization Specialist in DALLAS, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a transportation location, you will help maintain a welcoming, secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access credentials, and communicating professionally with employees, visitors, and drivers. You will remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, document activity, and respond to access concerns with integrity and teamwork. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a transportation location.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points for vehicles, employees, contractors, and visitors; verify credentials, log arrivals and departures, and direct traffic as needed.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, vehicle areas, gates, loading areas, business grounds, and perimeter to help identify unauthorized activity and security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate security-related logs, reports, and records regarding access activity, patrols, incidents, and unusual observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
