What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
  • Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying identification, reviewing visitor authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and documenting entries and exits in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; promptly notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
  • Maintain accurate security-related records, including visitor logs, access-control activity, incident reports, and shift handoff information.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned interior areas, exterior grounds, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • A Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • X-ray screening experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
