Your Job

The Logistics Analyst supports INVISTA's Supply Chain and Logistics organization by advancing logistics strategies across multiple transportation modes. This role partners with commercial, supply chain, and finance partners across the organization on "slow-clock" logistics priorities, and applies rigorous data analysis, economic thinking, and Koch's Decision-Making Framework (DMF) to support contract negotiations, cost-to-serve evaluations, and other strategic decisions that strengthen INVISTA's cost competitiveness.

What You Will Do

  • Apply data analysis, manipulation, and visualization, including generative AI tools such as Claude to translate logistics data into quantitative insights, automate repeatable reporting, and accelerate recommendations that advance cost competitiveness and logistics strategy.
  • Serve as a thought partner and active contributor to developing sound strategic recommendations - including (but not limited to) contract renewals and cost-to-serve analysis - applying DMF principles and rigorous analytical thinking.
  • Challenge current logistics strategy for assigned modes to identify and surface opportunities for enhanced cost competitiveness and logistics optimization, building the rationale behind strategic bets and communicating those recommendations to the business to seek challenge and alignment.
  • Monitor INVISTA's realized performance against market and competitor data points to identify emerging positive or negative divergence from strategic bets, diagnose root causes (internal performance vs. market/structural shifts), and recommend actions to extend or correct the trend.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
  • Experience translating data into actionable recommendations
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent priorities and re-prioritizing work as business needs evolve
  • Experience presenting data-driven recommendations to stakeholders outside one's immediate function
  • This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
  • Prior experience in transportation/logistics procurement, rate negotiation, or contract strategy
  • Familiarity with various modes of transportation- such as barge, vessel, ISO, and marine movements
  • Exposure to decision-making frameworks (e.g., DMF) or economic/financial analysis
  • Curiosity and hands-on experience with AI/LLM tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) for data analysis, research, or workflow automation
