**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 24 hours. Southcoast Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Under the general direction of the Manager of Coding Education or designee, perform a variety of duties both within and in support of the Coding and Compliance initiatives. Duties include auditing of medical records to ensure documentation supports the level of service, documentation reflects the requirements of Local and National Determination Coverages, ability to develop and implement educational programs, and initiate overall documentation improvement strategies. Additional duties will include the orientation and auditing of newly on-boarded providers and programs. Candidate must be able to work independently, possess strong communication skills, demonstrate a systematic, organizeed approach to tasks, and convey a strict adherence to high standards and quality control.
