CliftonLarsonAllen, LLP is hiring an Experienced Audit Associate to service our Nonprofit clients in New England. As an Experienced Audit Associate, you will perform significant audit and other assurance engagements for our clients, build relationships, and assure continued close personal attention to their needs. CLA auditors get the footing they need to step confidently into leadership positions and more specialized practice areas. This position will be and in-office role based out of any one of our New England offices.

How you'll create opportunities in this Experienced Audit Associate role:

  • Perform a wide range of audit and accounting procedures impacting industry-specific issues.

  • Audit complex areas or transactions as well as prepare financial statements and related reports.

  • Schedule, delegate, and review the work of staff.

  • Supervise, train, and mentor staff.

  • Keep Manager or Principal informed of engagement status and issues.

  • Proactively interact and communicate with clients to gather information to ensure timely engagement wrap-up.

What you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.

  • Current CPA or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam is preferred.

  • 1 year of relevant experience in professional services required (completed internship(s) may qualify as related experience)

  • Ability to travel to client sites which may also require infrequent overnight travel.

Our approach to compensation emphasizes collaboration and career growth. We pay competitive wages and view compensation as an investment in our people. Factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and knowledge may impact position of pay within the range.

The compensation range for this position in Massachusetts is: $65,000.00 - $106,000.00.
