In This Global Future Leader Role, you will act as a Product Services Strategy & Intelligence Analyst

Role Overview The Global Product Services (GPS) Market Intelligence & AI Strategy Associate role supports Lenovo's Services and Solutions Group by strengthening GPS's outside-in market perspective. It focuses on understanding customer needs, competitors, market trends, and AI developments, then converting those insights into clear, actionable recommendations that guide portfolio strategy, AI-enabled services, attach growth, and future business opportunities. The role reports to the GPS Strategy, Portfolio, and Product Management Director and works closely with GPS Product Management, Strategy, Business Insights, Business Management, Deployment, Support, and cross-functional teams in sales, marketing, delivery, and transformation. It is designed as a developmental, early-career role with strong exposure to senior leaders and high-priority projects.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct market intelligence research to identify customer needs, industry trends, emerging technologies, and services growth opportunities relevant to GPS.
  • Perform competitive analysis to assess portfolio positioning, offer gaps, competitor capabilities, and market developments.
  • Support product managers and business leaders with research, business insights, and data-driven recommendations that inform portfolio strategy and offer development.
  • Analyze opportunities to grow attach, improve portfolio completeness, and support profitable growth across GPS services.
  • Monitor AI trends and help identify ways to embed AI into sales, delivery, service features, and operating models.
  • Create executive-ready presentations, reports, and recommendations that translate complex information into clear business insights.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams across product management, project management, analytics, sales, marketing, delivery, and transformation to support strategic initiatives.

Job Requirements: Must Have

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Analytics, Data Science, Economics, Engineering, Technology Management, Product Management, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure ambiguous business questions.
  • Experience conducting research, market analysis, competitive intelligence, consulting projects, business case development, or data analysis through internships, academic projects, or professional experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to synthesize findings into executive-friendly recommendations.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively across teams, manage multiple priorities, learn quickly, and deliver high-quality outcomes.

Nice to Have

  • MBA or Master's degree in Strategy, Analytics, Technology Management, Product Management, Data Science, or a related discipline.
  • Internship or work experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, product management, business operations, market intelligence, services, or technology.
  • Interest in AI-enabled services, business transformation, or digital operating models.
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, Excel, or similar technologies.
  • Demonstrated leadership through consulting engagements, internships, student organizations, research projects, or business competitions.
GLF Program Requirements
  • Currently completing or recently completed a degree from an accredited university (Bachelors, Masters or PhD)
  • Passion for technology, innovation, and continuous learning
  • Demonstrated leadership potential through academic, professional, internship, or community involvement
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and work effectively across global teams
  • Ability to think strategically, manage ambiguity, and execute with attention to detail
  • Flexibility to travel as needed (approximately 10-20%)
