Requisition Number:R162459 INNOVATION ENGINEER (Open) How You'll Help Transform Healthcare:We are seeking a motivated and qualified Innovation Engineer to join our team in Roanoke, VA. This is a onsite position that requires regular in-person attendance at our office location. The Innovation Engineer collaborates with the Innovation Team to design, develop, and test cutting-edge medical devices and solutions to address complex healthcare challenges within a hospital setting. This role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to identify clinical needs, translating them into technical requirements, and deliver innovative, safe, and effective solutions. The engineer will collaborate on multiple concurrent projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery while adhering to regulatory standards. Additionally, the Innovation Engineer will conduct rigorous device testing, provide technical support for existing systems, and stay abreast of emerging technologies to continuously advance healthcare innovation and patient outcomes. What We Require: Education: Bachelor's degree in an engineering field or in lieu of degree, associate's degree and 2 years of experience. Experience: 2 years of relevant experience Other Minimum Qualifications: Excellent oral and written communications skills, willing to continuously learn new skills, positive attitude, self-motivated, ability to work with minimal direction, ability to lead, and adapt to change. Highly skilled in use of personal computers. Experience in electrical, biomedical, mechanical, or software engineering, a passion for problem-solving, and a commitment to continuous professional growth. Experience with managing projects. Compensation Range: $69,721.60 - $104,582.40Employee pay is based on a variety of factors, including qualifications, credentials, education, and prior work experience.
