Job Description:

Dynamo Technologies, LLC is seeking a qualified Senior Management Analyst - Logistics & Supply Operations to join our team in support of the Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC). The successful candidate will provide Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) to AFSC Logistics (AFSC/LG), supporting logistics and sustainment activities through project analysis, workflow management, process improvement, research, data analysis, and operational support.

The ideal candidate will possess 10 or more years of relevant experience within logistics, supply chain, supply, sustainment, depot operations, maintenance, materiel management, or a related functional area. Relevant experience may include, but is not limited to, Air Force logistics, Air Force supply chain operations, depot-level operations, aircraft sustainment or maintenance, supply and materiel management, or aircraft weapons-system support.

The customer is particularly interested in candidates who understand supply chain and depot-level operations and the relationships among supply, maintenance, materiel availability, sustainment, and mission requirements.

This position requires an experienced professional who can apply functional knowledge to analyze complex processes and operational requirements, identify risks and performance gaps, and develop actionable recommendations for Government leadership.

The analyst will also serve in an Action Officer capacity, supporting task management, executive-level briefings, suspense tracking, information coordination, research, and development of response packages for senior-level review and approval. Additional responsibilities include supporting Task Management Tool (TMT) activities, SharePoint and Microsoft Teams administration, records management, security activities, leadership scheduling, and travel and training coordination.

Strong analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills are essential. The successful candidate must be capable of working independently while effectively collaborating with senior Government personnel and cross-functional stakeholders in a fast-paced mission environment.

Duties/ Responsibilities



  • Provide senior-level Management Analyst and Action Officer support to AFSC Logistics.
  • Analyze logistics, supply chain, supply, sustainment, depot, maintenance, materiel management, and related operational processes.
  • Evaluate logistics and sustainment processes to identify constraints, gaps, risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Analyze issues affecting supply support, materiel availability, maintenance, sustainment, depot operations, and mission requirements.
  • Conduct project analysis, workflow analysis, process mapping, gap analysis, and business process improvement activities.
  • Research and analyze operational data, trends, variances, performance indicators, and cause-and-effect relationships.
  • Develop actionable recommendations and decision-support products based on analytical findings.
  • Develop and prepare briefing charts, presentations, reports, and other staff products, translating complex information into clear and concise information for leadership.
  • Manage suspense tasks and deadlines and ensure assigned actions are appropriately coordinated and completed within established timeframes.
  • Manage and track actions within Task Management Tool (TMT) and coordinate taskings and responses across organizations.
  • Consolidate findings, organizational inputs, and responses into comprehensive packages for senior-level review and approval.
  • Coordinate with logistics, supply, maintenance, program management, and other functional stakeholders to obtain information, address issues, and support mission requirements.
  • Facilitate meetings and working groups and serve as an Action Officer for assigned activities.
  • Administer and maintain SharePoint and Microsoft Teams sites to support collaboration, document management, information sharing, and action tracking.
  • Manage calendars, coordinate meetings, and support senior leadership scheduling requirements.
  • Support records management activities and ensure appropriate documentation is maintained in accordance with applicable requirements.
  • Assist with security inspections and associated compliance activities.
  • Coordinate and track travel and training requirements and related logistics.
  • Perform additional analytical and operational support activities in support of AFSC/LG mission requirements.


Required Skills/Abilities



  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience in logistics, supply chain, supply, sustainment, depot operations, materiel management, maintenance, or a related functional area.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of logistics, supply chain, sustainment, and/or depot operations within a Department of Defense, military, or similarly complex operational environment.
  • Understanding of the relationships among supply, materiel availability, maintenance, sustainment, depot operations, and mission readiness.
  • Experience analyzing operational processes, identifying gaps or constraints, and developing recommendations for improvement.
  • Experience conducting research and analyzing data, trends, variances, risks, and cause-and-effect scenarios.
  • Experience developing reports, briefings, technical documentation, and decision-support products for leadership.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio.
  • Knowledge of DAFH 33-337, The Tongue and Quill, and applicable Air Force guidance for preparing official communications and staff products.
  • Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, suspense dates, calendars, and changing requirements.
  • Experience with SharePoint and Microsoft Teams, including document management, collaboration, and information tracking.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Ability to facilitate meetings, coordinate actions across multiple organizations, and serve effectively as an Action Officer.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and manage shifting priorities and deadlines.
  • U.S. citizenship required.


Nice to Have Skills



  • Air Force logistics or supply chain experience.
  • Supply, materiel management, or depot-level operations experience.
  • Experience supporting the Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC), Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC), an Air Logistics Complex (ALC), or another DoD logistics or sustainment organization.
  • Aircraft sustainment or aircraft maintenance experience.
  • Aircraft weapons-system logistics or sustainment experience.
  • Experience with repairable assets, supply support, materiel availability, or maintenance support.
  • Experience analyzing supply chain performance, depot operations, materiel availability, maintenance constraints, or sustainment requirements.
  • Experience with process mapping, gap analysis, process optimization, business process improvement, organizational studies, work simplification, or workload analysis.
  • Experience with Task Management Tool (TMT) or a comparable Government task-management system.
  • Experience supporting senior-level program briefings, performance tracking, program integration, and executive decision-making.
  • Knowledge of Air Force logistics, supply, maintenance, or sustainment systems and associated data.
  • Experience with quality assurance analysis and configuration management of taskings and response packages.
  • Previous experience supporting Government or A&AS programs.


Education and Experience:



  • 10+ years of relevant professional experience required.
  • MA/MS degree required.
  • Relevant experience should demonstrate progressive responsibility within logistics, supply chain, supply, sustainment, depot operations, materiel management, maintenance, or a related functional area.
  • Air Force logistics, Air Force supply chain, supply, depot, aircraft maintenance, and aircraft weapons-system sustainment are examples of relevant functional backgrounds and are not separate individual requirements.


Travel Requirement:




  • Some travel may be required; however, routine travel is not anticipated.




Clearance Requirement:




  • Secret clearance is desirable. Ability to obtain and maintain the required Public Trust/background investigation is required.
