Requirements and Description The Financial Accounting Manager is a key role in the accounting organization. This role is responsible for month end close, analyzing profit and loss accounts, leading and coaching a team, and improving processes across the accounting department. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/TASKS * Month end Close responsibilities o Calculate and post and/or review journals related to: * Revenue * Recurring Expenses * Accounts Payable * Accounts Receivable o Collaborate with Finance to prepare monthly allocations for cross-utilized contracts o Collaborate with Operations, Finance, IT, Fixed Assets, and Accounts Payable teams to align and control transaction coding * Analyze Profit & Loss Accounts for missing items and for unusual activity o Perform monthly reviews of key/volatile expense accounts that lead to timely reclassifications, accruals, and/or Pass-Through Billing o Complete Ad hoc projects to help enhance Financial Reporting integrity * Develop and coach off-shore team of 5-6 people * Develop documented and efficient processes and controls QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
