Job Description




As a Security Officer Patrol Deterrence in Tulsa, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a downtown hotel, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming guest experience. You will communicate professionally with guests, staff, and visitors while responding to security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service to hotel guests, visitors, and/or staff while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
  • Respond to guest concerns, incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate hotel personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of guest floors, entrances, lobby areas, parking facilities, service areas, and the surrounding property to help identify unusual activity and potential hazards.
  • Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the hotel, and report security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and policy violations according to site procedures.
  • Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
