Lecturer of Business Law

The Department of Accountancy and Business Law invites applications for a nine-month Lecturer in Business Law. This is a nine-month, non-tenure-track position beginning in Spring 2027 or Fall 2027. This position is appointed to an initial one-year term with no renewal limits.

The successful Lecturer candidate will have an emphasis on teaching while also contributing to meaningful service for the department, college, and university. Responsibilities will include teaching four courses per semester and participating fully in departmental activities, including academic advising, committee service, and community engagement. The position may require teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Juris Doctorate degree is required.

The Accountancy and Business Law Department supports the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Master of Science in Accountancy ( MSA), and Master of Business Administration programs. The Department also offers courses in the Cameron School of Business core curriculum, including financial and managerial accounting and business law.
