Sr Visualization Specialist

Hyundai KIA America Technical Center, Inc. (HATCI) is currently looking for a Visualization Specialist to join our team at
the KIA Design Center in Irvine, CA

• Ability to work in a collaborative team atmosphere with an open, positive attitude
• Possess knowledge in the elements and principles of design, composition, 3D modeling, real-world lighting, andvisual storytelling
• Lead visual design work from ideation to mock-ups and implementation\
• Utilize Autodesk VRED, Unreal Engine, Blender, Premier Pro, AfterEffects, and Photoshop to develop and deliverrenderings, animations, and VR experiences that communicate the KIA brand coherently across digital and printmediums
• Prepare and execute presentations with various visualization tools including: Videowall, Virtual reality, Mixed reality,
  and Augmented reality systems
• 3D Visual Artists are required to create photo real renderings of projects including animations, creative lighting,Atmospherics, texturing, unwrapping, and 3D modelling of scenery assets
• Prepare and translation 3d data to and from applications such as: Alias, Catia, VRED, Blender, Unreal
• Create compelling visualizations and animations from Alias and polygonal data for weekly/monthly design reviewswith Design teams using VRED or Unreal Engine
• Create repeatable creative animations and rigging, realistic interaction with the environment, and suspensionmovement in Unreal Engine
• Work closely with cross-disciplinary teams to understand their needs and anticipate and prepare for visualizationneeds
• Meet design specifications from Engineering and deadlines established by Design Managers
• Organize and prepare files for Design reviews and presentation materials
• Maintain clean and safe work environment
• Up to 20% of domestic and/or international travel

• Educational Requirements:
  
  
  
  • Bachelors or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
  • Design Degree preferred, but high school diploma or technical or vocational training in creating/editing animations/videos, VRED and Unreal Engine may be considered
  • 2-5+ years of experience in automotive Exterior and Interior model visualization

  • Strong technical skills in visualization tools (Autodesk Alias, VRED, Blender, Unreal Engine, etc), Data Management, and project milestones

  • Possess knowledge in the elements and principles of design, composition, 3D modeling, real-world lighting, and visual storytelling
  • Proven ability to evaluate visual alternatives and provide recommendations when necessary
  • Demonstrate interpersonal skills, including ability to plan and organize within a team structure
  • Working knowledge of vehicle construction
  • Strong communication skills and collaborative behavior for daily interaction with Design, Engineering, and local and overseas colleagues
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making abilities
  • Proficiency in planning, executing, and closing projects

• California Salary Range: $105,000-$170,000
