POSITION SUMMARY
The Learning and Development Facilitator delivers and maintains training programs that strengthen organizational capability and support evolving business line needs, including New Hire Orientation, retail-specific learning and business line-specific needs. This role collaborates with field coaches, business leaders, and HR&D partners to reinforce learning objectives, deliver effective training solutions, and ensure materials remain accurate, compliant, and aligned with Lighthouse standards. The Learning and Development Facilitator delivers instructional content using a variety of methods, manages logistics for assigned training sessions, and supports a positive learner experience. The Learning and Development Facilitator consistently demonstrates Lighthouse's leadership competencies and advances our mission through every interaction and learning experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
* Leads the facilitation of training programs - including New Hire Orientation, retail-specific learning, etc. - that strengthen organizational capability and support evolving operational needs for specific business lines.
* Models exceptional service and professionalism and maintains up-to-date knowledge of Lighthouse policies, procedures, and operational changes.
* Collaborates with field coaches and managing leaders to reinforce and follow up on learning objectives.
* Partners with HR&D team (including HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition) to define training solutions that meet operational needs.
* In collaboration with the L&D team, identifies and implements solutions, establishes training outlines, and selects appropriate instructional methods such as on-the-job learning, demonstrations, workshops, classroom sessions, virtual training, and self directed learning.
* Develops training resources, including handbooks, job aids, visual tools, and tutorials, aligned with best practices and stakeholder feedback.
* Conducts regular audits of training materials to ensure accuracy, consistency with internal branding, and compliance with regulatory standards.
* Oversees all logistical components for assigned training programs-including orientation, retail training, and other classes-by managing schedules, coordinating guest presenters, assigning facilitators, preparing materials, and handling related administrative tasks to ensure a seamless and high-quality experience.
* Plans and delivers learning and team member engagement events that strengthen a culture of growth, inclusion, service excellence, and organizational connection across all departments, with targeted support for branch-level engagement.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS
* Delivers engaging, interactive training sessions that connect with audiences and support real-world application.
* Facilitates learning experiences focused on skill development, behavior change, and member-centric interactions.
* Applies adult learning principles to create meaningful, practical learning environments.
* Demonstrates working knowledge of retail banking/credit union operations, including basic lending concepts.
* Builds strong relationships across teams to support learning, engagement, and performance improvement.
* Effectively communicates, coaches, and influences at all levels of the organization.
* Manages multiple training initiatives while maintaining strong organization and follow-through.
* Uses feedback and performance insights to continuously improve learning experiences.

TRAINING & EXPERIENCE
* Associate's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Lending and cash handling experience in a branch environment.
* Experience facilitating or coaching soft skills, behavioral, or culture focused programs or tools.
* Ability to demonstrate both soft skills and technical skills training in both a classroom and digital format.

WORK ARRANGEMENT:
The working arrangement for this position is hybrid. Hybrid work is an opportunity to find the right balance between working in the office and remotely, especially if it supports individual success and the needs of our organization. Hybrid schedules are determined by the hiring manager based on business unit needs and may vary by department.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
* Must be able to walk, stand, sit, speak, read, write, see, hear, push or pull (with or without accommodation).
* Frequently remains sitting in a stationary position for extended periods of time, operating office/computer equipment.
* Occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 20 pounds.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Travel will be required for ongoing training, meetings, and/or other business needs.
