Position Title: Production Associate / Mechanical Assembler

Production Associate / Mechanical Assembler Responsibilities: - Perform advanced electro-mechanical assembly, basic testing, and cable processes according to documented procedures - Coordinate assembly sequences across adjacent workstations to help maintain a consistent production flow - Perform moderately complex assemblies independently while meeting production and quality expectations - Inspect completed work using established quality standards and IPC criteria - Identify and address basic workmanship and quality issues - Troubleshoot and resolve routine production or quality issues to maintain workflow efficiency - Collaborate with team members across production areas to meet build schedules and production goals - Perform simple product testing under the direction of the Production Technician or Team Lead - Identify material shortages, substitutions, or other production concerns and communicate them to leadership - Proactively help reduce scrap and rework by identifying issues early in the production process - Support cross-training and assist with onboarding new employees - Communicate production concerns, quality issues, and process improvement ideas to team members and leadership - Follow all company safety, quality, and production procedures Requirements for Production Associate / Mechanical Assembler: - High School Diploma or equivalent - At least one year of electronics assembly or related production experience - IPC-A-610 certification or knowledge is preferred - Working knowledge of multiple assembly processes, equipment, and product lines - Ability to perform moderately complex electro-mechanical assembly independently - Knowledge of quality standards and ability to inspect work according to IPC criteria - Ability to identify and resolve routine production and quality issues - Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work - Ability to follow written procedures and work independently - Ability to communicate effectively with team members and leadership - Ability to work in a team environment and support production goals - Ability to learn and perform multiple production processes - Ability to stand and work at a workstation for extended periods - Ability to use hand tools and production equipment as required - Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements - Ability to frequently reach, grasp, handle, and manipulate small components - Ability to lift and move materials as required by the position - Ability to maintain attention to detail during repetitive and precise assembly tasks QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
