Position Title: Crate Packer
Wage: $19.00/hour Shift: 2nd Hours: 2:30pm - 10:30pm (Monday - Friday) Reached a dead end at your current job? Check out how this position can create a new path! QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Crate Packer at a company in Franklin, WI. This is a potential to hire position for 2nd shift. Apply today! Crate Packer Responsibilities: - Identify materials and match them to the correct crate or pallet - Measure, pack, brace, and secure generator parts and other materials - Use foam, strapping, foil, and other packing materials to protect products - Build crates and pallets according to BoxCAD plans - Use hand tools, power tools, and industrial equipment - Complete required paperwork, production records, and equipment checklists - Perform basic equipment maintenance - Keep the work area clean and organized - Assist with training new packers when assigned - Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements Requirements for Crate Packer: - High School Diploma/GED preferred - Previous crating, packing, woodworking, or manufacturing experience preferred - Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and material handling equipment - Ability to read measurements and perform basic math - Ability to safely position and secure materials - Ability to stand and walk on concrete floors for extended periods - Ability to regularly stand and use hands to operate tools and equipment - Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and climb as needed - Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs - Good vision, hearing, balance, and coordination IND104 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
