Description Job Title: Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager Location: Portland, OR. Employment Type: Direct Hire Industry: Semiconductor Manufacturing Compensation: $95,000-$115,000/Year Schedule: 40 Hours/Week About the Opportunity: Join a manufacturing environment supporting the semiconductor industry as an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager. This hands-on leadership role will oversee site safety, occupational health, and environmental programs while partnering with Production, Engineering, Facilities, Warehouse/Logistics, Quality, HR, and Process Safety teams to identify hazards, reduce risk, and strengthen a culture of safety. What You'll Do: Lead site EHS programs, policies, procedures, audits, inspections, job hazard analyses (JHAs), risk assessments, and compliance activities. Ensure compliance with OSHA, Oregon OSHA, and applicable environmental regulations while managing chemical safety, hazardous materials, hazardous waste, PPE, and emergency response programs. Lead investigations into injuries, near misses, chemical exposures, spills, and other incidents, including root-cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions. Partner with Process Safety Management (PSM) teams on PHAs, MOCs, process safety activities, emergency preparedness, and safety drills. Maintain a strong production-floor presence while leading EHS training, Safety Committee activities, contractor and visitor safety requirements, employee communications, and continuous improvement initiatives. APPLY TODAY Job Requirements What You'll Bring: Bachelor's Degree in Environmental, Health & Safety or Occupational Safety or Industrial Hygiene or Environmental Science or Engineering or Chemistry 7+ years of progressive EHS or industrial safety experience. 7+ years of experience in chemical manufacturing, semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, or another highly regulated industrial environment. 7+ years of experience with safety programs, inspections, JHAs, risk assessments, incident investigations, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions. What Sets You Apart: Working knowledge of OSHA/Oregon OSHA requirements. Experience with chemical safety, PSM, environmental compliance, and emergency preparedness. OSHA 30-Hour General Industry and HAZWOPER certification. CSP, ASP, CHMM, or similar certification. Strong communication, coaching, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
