Schedule/Shift: 6:00 AM-2:30 PM; overtime and weekends as needed
Pay:$22.84 per hour

Job Summary
The Production Test Technician tests and validates the safety, capacity, compliance, and performance of manufactured skids, cartridges, oil reservoirs, and electrical control boxes. This role performs product testing, examines components, and captures accurate data for engineering, project, production, and quality teams before products are commissioned. The technician maintains testing documentation, tooling, and a clean and organized work area while following established safety and quality procedures.

Job Responsibilities

• Test manufactured products for safety, capacity, compliance, and performance.
• Examine and investigate specific components and aspects of products during testing.
• Collect, document, and compile testing data for engineering, project, production, and quality teams.
• Perform testing activities under the direction of the Quality team.
• Maintain hydrotest logs and required safety documentation, including Safe Work Permits when performing hydrotesting.
• Maintain testing tools and equipment in safe and functional condition.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and identify potential product or equipment issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area using 5S principles.
• Follow established safety, quality, and testing procedures.
• Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, as required.
• Perform other testing and production support duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude and hands-on approach to testing and troubleshooting.
• Ability to safely lift, move, and operate heavy electrical machinery and equipment.
• Strong communication skills.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Basic computer skills, including email and electronic form completion.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and accurately document test results.
• Ability to work with high-pressure or high-voltage equipment preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• HAZWOPER or other OSHA certifications preferred.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as required.

Education

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in engineering, science, or a related field preferred.

Work Experience

• Relevant production testing, mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, or industrial experience preferred.
• Experience with high-pressure or high-voltage equipment preferred.
