Talent Acquisition Specialist

Hill International is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist in Houston, or Dallas Texas

Hill International is seeking a proactive and relationship-driven Talent Acquisition Specialist to support recruiting efforts across our Southern and Western U.S Region. This role will be responsible for full-cycle recruiting, partnering closely with hiring managers and clients to attract, engage, and hire top talent across a variety of technical positions.

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for assigned positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding coordination.
• Partner with hiring managers and business leaders to understand workforce needs, define position requirements, and develop effective recruitment strategies.
• Support staffing efforts for both active project needs and proposal pursuits by identifying and engaging qualified talent.
• Source candidates through a variety of channels, including job boards, social media platforms, networking events, referrals, and direct outreach.
• Conduct candidate screenings and assessments to evaluate qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
• Coordinate and facilitate the interview process, ensuring a positive candidate and hiring manager experience.
• Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
• Serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment process.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with operations leadership, hiring managers, Human Resources partners, and Talent Acquisition team members.
• Utilize the applicant tracking system (ATS) to manage candidate activity, recruitment metrics, and hiring workflows.
• Prepare and present offers, facilitate compensation discussions, and support successful candidate closings.
• Represent Hill International at industry conferences, career fairs, networking events, and other talent attraction initiatives.
• Support employer branding and recruitment marketing efforts to enhance Hill's visibility within the talent marketplace.

• Bachelor's degree in related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in a corporate or professional services environment.
• Experience recruiting within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry is highly preferred.
• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS), CRM platforms, job boards, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other sourcing tools.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Oracle Recruiting Cloud experience preferred.
• Proven ability to manage multiple requisition workload and balancing competing priorities.
• Experience developing strong partnerships with hiring managers and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong negotiation and candidate-closing skills in a competitive talent market.
• Strong verbal and written communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with a minimum of two days per week in the office.
