| Position Purpose |
Dartmouth College Counseling Center has an opening for a Suicide Prevention & Outreach Specialist/Counselor. This position will further our already existing campus-wide suicide prevention program. The individual in this position will work with the Suicide Prevention team to plan, design, coordinate, and implement a comprehensive suicide prevention program, as well as provide counseling to Dartmouth students. |

| Required Qualifications - Skills, Knowledge and Abilities |
- Master of Social Work (MSW), MA in Counseling from CACREP program, Doctorate (Ph.D., Psy.D.) in Clinical or Counseling Psychology.
- Two years direct clinical experience (can include internship).
- Demonstrated competency, experience, and commitment to issues of diversity in the delivery of clinical services and in outreach/programming.
- Professional experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating community health programs.
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary college/university counseling center setting.
- Candidates must hold a New Hampshire license or be eligible for licensure within two years of hire. The license must be awarded no later than three years after the date of hire.

- Demonstrated presentation skills and ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal form with a variety of audiences, including students, faculty, and staff.
