At Novocure, we're working to extend the lives of patients living with some of the most aggressive forms of cancer through our innovative Tumor Treating Fields (TTFields) therapy.

As a Medical Science Liaison (MSL), CNS - West, you'll serve as a trusted scientific partner to healthcare professionals, thought leaders, and clinical investigators across the western U.S. You'll help translate complex oncology science into meaningful scientific exchange while building relationships that advance understanding of TTFields and its role in patient care.

This is a highly external, relationship-driven role for someone who enjoys being in the field, engaging with physicians and investigators, and connecting science with real-world clinical practice.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We're looking for a field Medical Affairs professional who brings a strong foundation in oncology and scientific exchange and is comfortable independently managing a large geographic territory.

You'll represent Novocure Medical Affairs across Southern California, Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, and Hawaii, developing trusted relationships with key scientific and clinical stakeholders while serving as an important source of insights from the field.

Direct CNS or neuro-oncology experience is highly valued, but it isn't required. We're equally interested in experienced oncology MSLs who have demonstrated the ability to learn complex science quickly, establish credibility with physicians, and develop meaningful KOL relationships.

You don't need previous experience with TTFields. You'll receive comprehensive training on our technology, clinical data, and the science behind our therapy.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Develop and maintain collaborative scientific relationships with thought leaders, healthcare professionals, clinical investigators, and other external stakeholders
• Engage in high-quality, balanced scientific exchange around clinical data, disease states, treatment landscapes, and emerging evidence
• Develop and execute a strategic territory plan based on key institutions, scientific leaders, research activity, and evolving medical needs
• Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with established and emerging KOLs across the territory
• Support company-sponsored research and investigator-initiated research discussions
• Gather meaningful insights from the field and communicate them internally to help inform Medical Affairs strategy
• Provide scientific support at regional and national congresses, advisory boards, educational programs, and other medical meetings
• Respond to unsolicited scientific and medical inquiries in a compliant, evidence-based manner
• Partner closely with fellow MSLs and colleagues across Medical Affairs, Clinical Operations, and Commercial
• Serve as an internal scientific resource while helping cross-functional partners understand evolving clinical data and the treatment landscape
• Maintain a high level of knowledge regarding oncology, CNS malignancies, relevant clinical research, treatment pathways, and competitive developments
• Operate independently in the field while remaining highly connected to the broader Medical Affairs organizationContribute to internal communications initiatives and help strengthen collaboration across the organization
• Serve as a trusted communications advisor capable of independently managing communications needs and opportunities as they arise

ABOUT YOU

You're a scientifically curious relationship-builder who enjoys being in front of healthcare professionals and discussing complex clinical information.

You know that being an effective MSL requires more than knowing the data. You listen, ask thoughtful questions, adapt your communication style to the person in front of you, and understand when a physician needs a deep scientific discussion versus a concise answer.

You're comfortable operating independently, but you're not a lone wolf. You proactively build relationships internally and recognize that strong partnership across Medical Affairs, Clinical, and Commercial teams is essential to success.

You're also energized by learning. Experience in CNS or neuro-oncology is valuable, but if your background is elsewhere in oncology, you're excited by the opportunity to develop deep expertise in a new therapeutic area and novel treatment modality.

Minimum Qualifications

• Advanced scientific or clinical degree such as PharmD, PhD, MD, DO, DNP, NP/PA, or equivalent relevant clinical/scientific training
• Previous field-based Medical Science Liaison or comparable Medical Affairs experience
• Experience in oncology, hematology/oncology, or another highly scientific specialty
• Demonstrated experience building relationships with physicians, investigators, KOLs, and other healthcare professionals
• Strong ability to interpret and communicate complex clinical and scientific information
• Experience engaging with both academic and community-based healthcare institutions
• Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and written communication skills
• Ability to independently manage a large geographic territory and prioritize external stakeholder engagement
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
• Ability and willingness to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in CNS oncology, neuro-oncology, brain tumors, or related neuroscience therapeutic areas
• Experience supporting solid-tumor oncology products
• Existing relationships with oncology or neuro-oncology thought leaders within the western U.S.
• Experience supporting product launches, new indications, or emerging therapies
• Experience with investigator-initiated research and clinical-trial engagement
• Experience working within both academic medical centers and community oncology practices
• Experience introducing physicians to a novel treatment modality, complex technology, or emerging therapeutic approach

HOW YOU'LL WORK

• Field-based position supporting Southern California, Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, and Hawaii
• Southern California, Arizona, or Las Vegas strongly preferred to enable effective territory coverage
• Significant field travel to engage healthcare professionals, investigators, institutions, and internal partners
• Regular participation in regional and national scientific congresses and medical meetings
• Close partnership with fellow MSLs and colleagues across Medical Affairs, Clinical Operations, and Commercial
• High degree of autonomy in managing your territory while remaining connected to a collaborative national Medical Affairs team

WHAT WE OFFER

This pay range which Novocure expects to pay for this role at the time of this posting is $144,000 - $190,000/yr. This position may also be eligible for an annual bonus and restricted stock unit grant in addition to a full range of benefits. Individual compensation within this range depends on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, prior education and experience, job-related knowledge and skills demonstrated.
