The role is responsible for leading the onboarding of customer projects/new for Amcor Flexibles North America (AFNA) business while building a great relationship with our customer (internal and external) to drive value, speed, adoption, and integration of our products with the customer. The role is a key enabler of the AFNA growth plan. The leader must take personal accountability and drive actions to enable on-boarding success.

The incumbent must have impeccable relationship skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail. The individual must enjoy working with a team but also be a self-starter that makes independent decisions and constantly looking for ways to improve the customer experience. This position works with the leaders throughout the organization to create and deliver a disciplined integration strategy, process, and execution plan.

The Sr Manager New Business Commercialization manages the customer transition period to successfully onboard according to the customer's timeline. Others in the organization are dependent on this position providing clear direction capable of commanding the respect and allegiance of every employee.

The Sr Manager New Business Commercialization must have previous exposure and understand all the end-to-end functions so cross-functional teams can be effectively steered through the transition with the customer. In addition to understanding Amcor technologies and processes, this position needs to be able to appreciate the current cultural climate and lead organizational cultural changes that is customer focused while enabling business results.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO

• Facilitate groups, mobilize people and agree quickly strategies that communicate and provide direction

• Lead communications with customers, which results in customer retention and loyalty

• Develop overall project plans that support customer integration which manage the day-to-day project activities and ensure a common understanding of project vision and goals amongst all team members

• Take accountably to facilitate, communicate, manage and coach to drive success

• Own the on-boarding project from initial technology scope call to completion

• Work with cross functional departments to establish critical timelines to achieve their goals of customer onboarding

• Work to identify and/or develop better ways to implement growth

• Advocate customer needs/issues cross-departmentally

• Work as a team to delight the customer

• Manage one or more mediums - size/complexity of products to on-board

• Facilitate teams through the development of project deliverables including success criteria, business requirements, change management, project plan/timeline, resources & budget

• Manages the project plan, project team meetings, and establishes & develops project stakeholder relationships

• Tracks project issues, risks and decisions; escalates risks & issues when needed

• Tracks project status, costs, timeline, and resources against plan and provides status reporting to Sponsors, Champions, and Stakeholders
• Coaches others on the Amcor process & related policies/procedures
