Quality Manager

Make a visible impact as the Quality Manager at Guardian Industries in Richburg, SC!

We are looking for a talented quality leader who wants to influence plant performance, strengthen customer confidence, and build a culture of continuous improvement. In this role, you will lead quality assurance across products, projects, and manufacturing processes while partnering with teams throughout the plant. You will have the opportunity to turn data into action, develop people, prevent defects, and deliver measurable improvements in quality, reliability, and cycle time.

What You Will Do

• Manage quality related issues and actively solve quality problems
• Partner with production and cross-functional teams to identify quality gaps and implement lasting improvements
• Perform spot checks for specific projects and make recommendations for correction
• Monitor performance with project managers and product owners to ensure preventive and corrective actions deliver results
• Design and continuously improve quality processes that make excellent performance easier to achieve
• Coach team members on quality processes, problem-solving tools, and meaningful performance metrics
• Evaluate and introduce quality methods and tools that improve capability and speed
• Champion compliance with specifications and quality standards
• Apply standardized tools including FMEA, Pareto Charts, and 8D Root Cause Analysis
• Drive knowledge sharing by capturing best practices and lessons learned
• Develop and support quality specialists through coaching, collaboration, and technical guidance

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Experience in a quality related role within a manufacturing environment
• Experience using standard quality tools (8D, DMAIC, FMEA, multiple RCA techniques)
• Experience leading and motivating a team

What Will Put You Ahead

• A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field
• Experience with quality improvement techniques (Six Sigma, Lean, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen)
• Experience using statistical analysis to identify trends and guide decisions
• Experience interacting with customers
