WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Serve as an underwriter of consumer and home equity lending. Support the organizational philosophy of high loan quality by recognizing opportunities for our members to improve their financial well-being, including situations that involve credit risk beyond the parameters of the automated approval system. Serve as a staff resource by mentoring staff in lending practices, guidelines, policies, regulations and procedures.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
Availability to work 40 hours per week Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30am - 5:30pm and rotating Saturdays 9:00am - 1:00pm at our Plymouth Corporate Office; non-exempt.
In addition:
- High School Diploma or equivalent, four year-college degree preferred.
- 4 years of financial service experience to include 3 years of consumer and/or real estate lending experience. Underwriting experience or knowledge, preferred.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Previous PC experience, Microsoft Office experience, preferred.
- Excellent math aptitude and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work as a team player being flexible and dependable.
- Ability to work independently while displaying initiative and decision-making skills.
- Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism while working under pressure.
- Maintains awareness of enterprise compliance requirements, including Bank Secrecy Act (BSA/AML) obligations, and follows internal policies and escalation protocols as applicable.
- Ability to pass all pre-employment drug test and various background checks.
- Responsible for regular and reliable attendance at the workplace.

The salary range for this position is $26.00 to $32.50per hour/year. In addition, we offer:
