Customer Service Representative II - Tuesday - Saturday - Evening Shift - Newark

In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, visitors, caregivers, and the community by answering calls, providing information, and supporting critical communication functions across our hospital campuses.

Schedule: Evening Shift

• Answer and manage incoming calls to the main telephone numbers for ChristianaCare hospital campuses.
• Respond to all emergency (911) phone lines and follow established procedures for more than 20 emergency medical code notifications, including:
  • Code Blue
  • Trauma Alert/Code
  • Heart Alert/Code
  • Code Delta
  • Internal Emergency notifications
• Deliver exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, caregivers, and the public.
• Answer TTY calls and provide assistance to members of the community.
• Assess emergency calls and dispatch information appropriately according to policies and procedures.
• Provide directions and facility information to patients, visitors, and community members.
• Maintain professionalism and accuracy while working in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Minimum of two (2) years of customer service experience required.
• Previous call center experience preferred.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions during emergency situations.
