Join our team as a Pediatric Database Coordinator, where you will play a critical role in maintaining and managing pediatric program databases to support quality patient care, research, reporting, and regulatory requirements. This position is responsible for data collection, entry, validation, analysis, and reporting, ensuring the highest standards of data accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented, with exceptional attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to identify discrepancies, ensure data accuracy, and maintain reliable records across complex databases.

This role is on-site, offering a flexible 20-hour schedule.

Summary:

The Pediatric Database Coordinator role involves collecting, analyzing and quality assuring outcome data for Pediatric patients across MaineHealth. Acting as a resource performing special projects as assigned by the Pediatric Directors and the Pediatric Division Chiefs.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

• Education: See "License/Certifications"
• License/Certifications: Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the state of Maine. BSN strongly recommended.
• Experience: Thorough knowledge of theory, practice, principles, processes and issues of pediatric nursing usually acquired through 2-3 years clinical experience. ICU or Pediatric experience preferred. PICU or NICU experience strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with computer systems applications, particularly PC-based, in clinical settings.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain adjunct nurse privileges.
• Evidence of 24 hours of continuing education recommended to maintain a competent level of practice.
• Analytical ability sufficient to identify changes in outcome data that may require intervention by a Pediatric Division Chief/Director of operations or his/her designee.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and complex projections through all phases of development to completion.
• Knowledge of MaineHealth Maine Medical Center organizational structure, roles, relationships and of the Pediatric Department's relationship within the hospital.
• Interpersonal and communication skills to interact with Pediatric Directors, Pediatric Division Chiefs, Research Coordinators, Physicians and nurses as well as personnel who may interact with Pediatric Services.

The pay range for this position is $77,144.16 to $104,373.79 per year. Salary is prorated for part-time role.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
