MaineHealth Behavioral Health (MHBH) seeks a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our Behavioral Health Pediatrics team within MaineHealth Maine Medical Center Portland (MHMMCP).

Schedule: Full Time (benefits eligible), 32 hours per week

Position Highlights:

• Seeking a fellowship-trained, board-eligible Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist.

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Join the Inpatient Pediatric Consultation-Liaison Service at Barbara Bush Children's.
• Collaborate with Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine in the outpatient setting through Pediatric Specialty Care.
• Evaluate and treat children and adolescents with a broad range of psychiatric conditions and levels of complexity.
• Work closely with pediatric primary care and specialty providers.

Team and Practice Environment:

• Multidisciplinary team including:Child & Adolescent Psychiatrists,Psychologists,Behavioral Health Clinicians (Clinical Social Workers & Licensed Clinical Counselors) andChild & Adolescent Psychiatry Fellows
• Integrated behavioral health continuum that includes: MaineHealth Behavioral Health atSpring Harbor andMaineHealth Behavioral Health
• Practice within Maine's only pediatric tertiary care center and Level I Trauma Center.

Teaching and Academic Opportunities:

• Significant educational role with opportunities to teach and mentor:Psychiatry residents,Pediatric residents,Tufts University School of Medicine medical students andSocial Work and Psychology trainees
• Faculty appointment with Tufts University School of Medicine.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of Allopathic or Osteopathic Medical School. Completion of internship and psychiatric residency and/or fellowship training.
• Current or eligible licensure as a physician by the Maine Board of Licensure in Medicine.
• Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology or be eligible for examination by the American Board as documented by written evidence. Board Certified or board eligible in general psychiatry.
• Current DEA Registration Certificate.
• 3+ years' experience inclusive residency and/or fellowship training.
• Strong commitment to collaborative, patient-centered care.

The annual base salary range for this position at a 0.8 FTE is $240,000.
