Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Operates forklift in accordance with company policy and completes daily safetyinspections.
* Knowledge of shipping / receiving / inventory control principles and practices.
* Interprets and uses bill of ladings/orders.
* Loads and unloads delivery trucks.
* Inspects incoming deliveries for accuracy and any visible damage.
* Supports all manufacturing operations with material movement throughout the plant.
* Communicates and coordinate activities with machine operators and supervisors.
* Supplies required materials to work centers.
* Stages empty pallets for foam extrusion.
* Removes finished goods from work centers.
* Removes waste, scrap and paper bales from work centers, operates trash compactor asneeded.
* Bands and wraps finished goods materials.
* Services packaging bander and wrapper equipment by replacing band material and film.
* Services grinding operations by replacing containers as they fill, sweeping the area andemptying the collection socks as needed.
* Completes documentation as required.
* Completes other duties as assigned by plant leadership, production leads, or shift leads.



Pay: $21.47


Shift: Night

Qualifications

* 1-3 years of forklift experience.
* Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to solve problems and apply critical thinking to processes and equipment.
* Ability to use a tape measure.
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Basic math, reading, and computer skills.
* High awareness toward safety for yourself and others.
* Able to work effectively and efficiently as part of a team or individually.
* Previous warehouse experience preferred but not required.
* College-level courses or trade school preferred, but not necessary.
* Ability to operate hoists, pallet jacks, and other related equipment.


Physical Requirements:
* Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
* Ability to enter, exit, and drive a forklift without assistance.
* Pushing, pulling, lifting at least 40lbs.
* Eye/hand coordination.
