Senior Manager Agile Coach

Sapient Corporation
United States, Massachusetts, Boston
Oct 20, 2026
Job Description

Publicis Sapient is seeking an experienced Product Manager / Product Transformation Lead to help a complex enterprise strengthen product management practices and adopt a modern Product Operating Model. This is fundamentally a product leadership role. The successful candidate must be a strong, hands-on Product Manager who can connect strategy to execution, shape product direction, prioritize value, and improve customer and business outcomes.

Coaching experience is highly valued because the role will also enable Product Managers, Product Owners, and cross-functional leaders to adopt product-centric ways of working. However, candidates without formal Agile Coach experience may still be successful if they demonstrate excellent product management, facilitation, stakeholder influence, and the ability to mentor teams through practical, hands-on leadership.

Your Impact

  • Lead product management and Product Operating Model transformation initiatives within a complex enterprise environment.

  • Connect business strategy and customer needs to product vision, roadmaps, priorities, backlogs, and execution plans.

  • Own or guide product discovery, value definition, roadmap development, backlog management, and outcome-based planning.

  • Partner with business, product, technology, design, data, and executive stakeholders to improve decisions, alignment, and speed to value.

  • Help transition teams from project-based execution toward persistent product teams focused on customer and business outcomes.

  • Translate Product Operating Model principles into practical governance, operating rhythms, decision rights, team structures, and delivery practices.

  • Coach, mentor, or enable Product Managers, Product Owners, and product leaders through hands-on guidance, working sessions, and role modeling.

  • Facilitate workshops on product strategy, vision, discovery, customer journeys, roadmaps, prioritization, backlog development, and transformation planning.

  • Improve portfolio and product prioritization using product metrics, OKRs, value measurement, and continuous learning.

  • Establish scalable planning, lean governance, and delivery practices that improve predictability without losing focus on outcomes.

  • Identify and address organizational constraints affecting product delivery, team effectiveness, and value realization.

  • Partner with Agile Coaches, Scrum Masters, Release Train Engineers, Engineering leaders, Experience teams, and Delivery leaders to strengthen cross-functional execution.

  • Use tools such as Jira, Jira Align, Confluence, and related product or portfolio management platforms to support transparency and execution.

  • Capture and scale effective practices so client teams can sustain improvements independently.

Qualifications

Required Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Leadership, Product Transformation, Agile Delivery, or comparable product-focused roles.

  • Demonstrated strength as a Product Manager, including product discovery, product strategy, roadmap development, prioritization, backlog management, value measurement, and outcome-driven planning.

  • Experience implementing, scaling, or working within Product Operating Models in complex enterprise organizations.

  • Ability to translate strategy into clear product direction and practical execution plans.

  • Experience partnering across product, engineering, design, data, business, and delivery functions.

  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, including the ability to align competing priorities without direct authority.

  • Experience facilitating workshops, strategic planning sessions, and cross-functional decision-making.

  • Demonstrated ability to mentor, guide, or enable Product Managers, Product Owners, and business stakeholders. Formal Agile Coach experience is beneficial but not required.

  • Working knowledge of Agile and Lean practices, including Scrum, Kanban, iterative delivery, and continuous improvement.

  • Hands-on experience with Jira and related product, Agile planning, or portfolio management tools.

  • Strong executive communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.

  • Experience leading organizational, operational, or ways-of-working change.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Formal Agile coaching experience across product and engineering teams or leaders.

  • Experience with SAFe, Agile Release Trains, Program Increment Planning, Lean Portfolio Management, value streams, and product funding models.

  • Experience within Asset Management, Wealth Management, Capital Markets, Financial Services, or another highly regulated industry.

  • Experience leading large-scale product transformations, enterprise modernization, or operating model change.

  • Familiarity with Jira Align, Confluence, AI-enabled products, data platforms, cloud modernization, and modern digital product development.

  • Consulting experience in a client-facing environment with executive stakeholders.

  • Certifications such as Pragmatic Institute, CSPO, CSP, ICAgile, SAFe Program Consultant, Release Train Engineer, or comparable product and Agile credentials.

What Success Looks Like

  • Product strategy is translated into clear priorities, roadmaps, and measurable outcomes.

  • Product Managers and Product Owners become more effective through practical guidance and repeatable practices.

  • Teams improve alignment, decision-making, customer focus, and speed to value.

  • Product-centric ways of working are adopted and sustained beyond the initial transformation effort.

  • Competitive compensation and benefits package.
  • Flexibility to support work-life balance.
  • Comprehensive health benefits for you and your family.
