We are seeking an Associate Software Engineer to join the team behind the architecture, enhancement, and upkeep of our MarTech & Web ecosystem of platforms that power our Marketing programs and digital experiences. This includes solutions that are third-party sourced and in-house built. As our Associate Software Engineer, you'll build a foundational understanding of various software frameworks and cloud-based solutions. Your role will include delivery, as well as supporting more senior members of the team translate business requirements into technical plans for development. You'll collaborate closely with Product Owners and Project Managers from the initial stages of discovery through implementation and support.

This role is primarily focused on learning and contributing under guidance. You are expected to:

As an Associate Software Engineer, working within the heart of our tech team, you'll be at the center of software innovation. You'll be the advocate for stakeholders' business requirements, pushing the limits of our software to achieve results and partnering with senior team members to bring those solutions to life.

Responsibilities and Duties:



  • Assist in translating basic business requirements into technical solutions under supervision.
  • Support specific areas of functionality in new releases, taking ownership of assigned tasks.
  • Help design and operate processes that monitor data sources for anomalies and assist in rapid resolution of affected business processes.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to resolve technical issues, create new processes, or design technical solutions with oversight.
  • Assist in drafting technical solutions that align with team policies, seeking approval throughout design and build phases.
  • Retain knowledge of relevant data structures and seek out answers by finding documentation or consulting with subject matter experts.
  • Write and debug clean, scalable code with guidance from senior team members. Participate in code quality assurance activities.
  • Troubleshoot and analyze issues related to code and architecture development, assisting in identifying possible solutions.
  • Work on data structures, data layers, and data tables in support of various business use cases under supervision.
  • Understand and support the technical realization of department goals and the overall technical roadmap.

Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems, Information Science, Software Engineering, Software Development or equivalent educ/experience
  • 6 months of experience with system architecture across multiple operating systems, languages, and frameworks
  • 6 months of experience in any programming language (Java, Python, or C# preferable), SQL (T-SQL/ Snow-SQL/ etc...), JavaScript and modern frameworks
  • 6 months of experience in Cloud integrations in Azure (preferred) or other
  • 6 months of work or project experience in full cycle software development, including analysis, design, development, testing and implementation.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • 6 months of experience in cloud warehousing and both MDM and ELT process (both API and flat file integrations)
  • 6 months of experience in CMS frameworks such as Sitecore and .NET
