Hours/Shift: Full-time, Evenings, Monday to Friday from 2:30pm to 11pm Department/Position Overview: In the Heart Hospital Advanced Imaging Center (HH AIC) you will be working with a team of cardiac imaging specialists, learning how to produce top-notch imaging studies. Cardiac imaging is a rapidly evolving field which has experienced a surge in growth over the last 24 months, due to the guidelines set forth by the American College of Cardiology, naming Cardiac CT frontline imaging for patients with chest pain. In the HH AIC, you will learn to complete the most complex cardiac images available for high acuity patients, as well as advanced patient care for cardiac patients. You will work closely with a care team which includes cardiologists, cardiac nurses, and imaging specialists, all with extensive experience in the field. In the HH AIC, we are also a valued member of the research team, providing imaging for new and upcoming products and procedures which are on the cutting edge of cardiac innovation. Required qualifications:
Performs Computed Tomography (CT) and CT guided interventional procedures under the direction of a qualified physician; provides patient and family education; operates equipment safely; completes department documentation; maintains all equipment to be clean and operational; maintains adequate supply inventory for performing examinations.
