Job Description

Jeerson Consulting Group, a woman-owned small business, has been awarded a five-year, $41 million-dollar Institutional Support Contract (ISC) in support of the U.S. Agency for International Development's (USAID) Bureau for Development, Democracy, and Innovation (DDI) Gender Equality and Women's Empowerment Hub (GenDev).

We
are in the process of expanding our pool of long- and short-term gender experts to meet GenDev's upcoming and ongoing needs. This is not a job posting for a specific vacant position; this is a way to submit your resume for candidacy on future vacancies on this contract. In addition to Gender- and Gender-Based Violence (GBV)-specific subject matter expertise, we also welcome Subject Matter Experts and Technical Advisors with experience related to gender integration in the following sectors:

  • Agriculture and Food Security
  • Climate and Natural Resources and Management
  • Conflict and Insecurity, including Women, Peace, and Security
  • Democracy, Human Rights, and Governance
  • Digital Access and Technology
  • Economic Growth
  • Education
  • Energy and Infrastructure
  • Global Health
  • Land and Property Rights
  • Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene


Basic Qualifications
:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience, plus a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related discipline or a PhD in a relevant area of study.
  • Experience in directly implementing gender integration technical support, capacity building, and training at the field level to a range of audiences and participants.
  • Previous USAID or USG experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written English language skills and ability to write in a collaborative process.Foreign language skills at a professional level or better a plus.
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
  • Outstanding cross cultural and interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work in a dynamic team environment with a diverse set of partners and stakeholders.
  • Experience with a diverse set of partners, such as civil society, foundation, bilateral donors, and other partners (preferred).
  • Experience working and collaborating with U.S. government agencies and private sector organizations, including officials with international organizations, foreign and domestic government officials, and development partners.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft and Google Suite of products.
  • Compliance with all Federal or Agency COVID requirements to access Agency facilities, such as vaccination/public health requirements.
  • Able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance (FAC)
